This wedding gown has lines that resemble the statue of Shiva. The illusion of a half circle created by the dress is similar to that surrounding the statue. Lines created by the position of the bodies are interesting.
The gathered lines on this top look like a sunburst. These same lines are found on the Rising Sun flag and daisies.
The mermaid wedding gown and these antique Indian candlesticks have very similar silhouettes. When the bride is dancing, the dress train will resemble the twisted lines at the bottom of the candlesticks.
Van Gogh's Starry Night is one of my favorite works of art. The lines on this dress remind me of the swirly clouds and wavy grass in the painting.
